Tuckeroo
Cupaniopsis anacardioides
Growing naturally on the north coast of NSW, the tuckeroo has attractive, large, glossy green leaves, smooth grey bark and a rounded crown, making it a perfect shade and street tree. In spring it displays green-yellow flowers, followed by decorative orange-yellow seed pods in summer. Useful, small and hardy, it grows well in most soils in full sun or shade and will tolerate poor soil, poor drainage and dry conditions.
