Thyme Honey Myrtle
Melaleuca thymifolia
A dense mounded shrub with small leaves and very pretty magenta coloured flowers that are produced sporadically all year, the Thyme Honey Myrtle attracts nectar loving insects and birds and is great for shrubberies, rockeries or in a pot. Usually free from pests and diseases, this charming, low maintenance plant tolerates some frost and drought and seems to thrive in any soil with little attention besides trimming.
