Singleton Mint Bush
Prostanthera cineolifera
A rare shrub in cultivation with highly aromatic foliage, the leaves of the Singleton Mint Bush release a strong minty scent when brushed against, and can be used to make an aromatic tea or as a mint substitute. The bush has a beautiful display of violet flowers throughout spring and early summer.
Frost and drought hardy, it grows best in well-drained soil and is happy in full sun or part shade. Occasional light pruning will keep it dense.
