A very hardy, small growing shrub that produces a prolific display of small clustered, mauve coloured flowers in late winter and spring. It is perfect for enticing small birds and beneficial insects. Best in a well drained soil, it is ideal in a mixed native planting as a specimen shrub or can be used as a low hedge. It tolerates frost and dry periods once established.
