A very dense large shrub or small shade tree, the common lilly pilly is the perfect choice for a native large screen or hedge, and can be hedged to any height. It has dark green leaves with lovely bronze coloured new growth and fluffy cream flowers followed by edible berries. A great habitat plant for the wildlife, it is super hardy, can tolerate most soil types, is frost tolerant and very drought resistant once established.
