This is an adaptable and beautiful banksia that suits many areas and positions from coastal gardens to inland, where it is frost and drought tolerant. The leathery contoured leaves have an interesting shaped and attractive silver undersides. It has large lemon yellow flowers that are produced from autumn, all through winter to spring, which are nectar rich and attract wildlife, including Black Cockatoos.
